This is a little bitter sweet as this is my last post from Aspen.  We explored downtown the other day and seriously fell in love with the charming old-town vibe of Aspen.  It was in the 40s and half of the snow was already gone.  Although getting around was much easier, I would have preferred more snow - strangely, coming from a person who has the tropicals at heart.

We had brunch at the Meatball Shack (inserted photo below).  Gotta tell you, it was a hit.  I am not very good at describing foods so I'm just gonna leave it at 4.5 out of 5 star rating.  The half star gone was because most tables were bar height and not very shortie-friendly (I'm 5ft tall).  We ordered soup of the day Chicken Tortilla, Shrimp Salad and a Shack Mac and Cheese.  Wait, we didn't order any meatballs.  I'm not sure why come to think of it.  Anyways, it was a lovely experience.  We loved the food and the ambience.

For those who wants to shop, Downtown has a small strip of shops, including from independent boutiques to mid-range and luxury ones such as Fendi, Valentino and Burberry.  All the holiday window displays were so cute and the snow made them even more festive.  I loved it.  I loved it all.  If you have visited Aspen before, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Happy Holidays my loves!
